Speech Language Pathologist

I completed my undergraduate degree in Speech Language Hearing Sciences (SLHS) with a minor in special education from Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) in 2020. I earned my Master’s in Speech Language Pathology from MSUM in 2022. During my master’s program I completed internships in the areas of Early Intervention (EI), working with birth to 3-year-olds, and at the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) program working with 3- to 5-year-olds. I started my speech language pathologist (SLP) career with Embrace Therapy Services in December 2024. My interests include expressive/receptive language, articulation, picky eating, AAC, and gestalt language processing (GLP). My specialty training includes Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) and Visual Phonics. I’m also interested in learning more about picky eating approaches and Orofacial Myology. I am originally from Valley City, ND. I have 1 younger sister, Eliza, who is currently in law school at the U of M. My husband and I live in West Fargo with our GSP puppy, Ruby. When I’m not spending time with friends and family, I enjoy traveling, reading, playing tennis or pickleball, and crafting. I love speech therapy because our field is so diverse, allowing me to work with a variety of disorders and age ranges. I value collaboration with other professionals, family members, and support staff to help maximize therapy effectiveness. It is so rewarding to watch my clients learn and grow as they progress toward their goals! My absolute FAVORITE birthday dessert is my mom’s homemade apple pie.
